Superheroes and Firefighters
It seems these days that the movie industry is fixated on Superheroes. We see them in every chapter of the Marvel Comics movies such as Black Panther, Thor, Captain America, and Spiderman. These multi-million-dollar productions go out of their way to create action movies bigger than life that portray the basic human quest of good defeating evil. Thankfully, the storyline is the same each time and movie goers can walk out of the theaters with hope in their hearts that the world is still a safe and happy place thanks to the heroics of their superheroes.
But we know of another superhero in Southeastern Colorado who is in the fight for his life against the Bad Guy commonly known as cancer—Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, to be exact. And this superhero is only 4-years old. His name is Cedric Legg, and he is currently taking chemotherapy treatments at Children’s Hospital in Denver where his mom, Brittni Legg Talbert, says he is being amazingly strong and starting to make progress despite how tough of a battle he is putting in against the Bad Guy every single day.
