We professionally refurbish equipment to ensure it’s fully serviced, cleaned, and in great

Below, we detail our refurbishment process, including machine-specific repairs that may be
performed depending on item condition and function.

Complete Cleaning

Following disassembly for cleaning, all units are thoroughly cleaned. This includes deep cleaning to enhance each machine to closely reflect its original condition and shine. (Cosmetic blemishes are unique to each machine ie. small scratches, dents etc) – Anything cosmetically that affects the machines ability to function properly are replaced.

Extensive Functionality Testing

All equipment sold by Colorado Cardio must pass a testing session performed by one of our team members. Please see below for more information about each test.

Full Test of Electronics and Overlay

All equipment has its electronics tested and overlay panels are replaced when appropriate.

Replacement Parts

Any components that are damaged or non-working are replaced to bring equipment to its full working condition.

Silicone Lubricant to Protect Against Wear

A Silicone based lubricant is applied during refurbishment to keep parts moving smoothly. Each piece is then tested for functionality and reapplied lubrication as needed

Final Internal Certification

All equipment that Colorado Cardio sells undergoes a final internal certification of refurbishment quality and machine functionality.

EQUIPMENT-SPECIFIC REFURBISHING

TREADMILLS

All Colorado Cardio treadmills receive:

Disassembly and thorough deep cleaning of all mechanical and functional elements (inside and out)
New running belt
New deck and shock absorption elements
Application of silicone lubricant for all moving/functional parts
Extensive testing of electronic components
To ensure complete functionality and restoration process quality, a member of the Colorado Cardio team runs a session on each machine before it is cleaned and prepared for the customer
Thorough deep cleaning of all cosmetic (plastic/vinyl) elements
Internal certification of refurbishment quality and machine functionality

ELLIPTICALS

All Colorado Cardio Ellipticals receive:

Disassembly and thorough deep cleaning of all mechanical and functional elements (inside and out)
New rechargeable batteries on every elliptical
Application of silicone lubricant for all moving/functional parts
Extensive testing of electronic components, replaced as needed (Overlays, keypads are replaced if extensive wear is present)

Pedals and pedal straps are inspected and replaced as needed depending on bearings and wear
New rechargeable batteries are replaced on every bike
Application of silicone lubricant for all moving/functional parts
Extensive testing of electronic components
