ABOUT COLORADO CARDIO
Shane Van Oene is no ordinary Colorado businessman. His commitment to the health and wellbeing of Colorado’s residents began with an early interest in sports and athletics. After two Little League National Championships in Canada, Shane continued playing baseball for Edmonton in Alberta Canada’s Premier Baseball League and at Peru State College in Nebraska. Shane received a degree in finance, but realized his passions were stronger for athletics. Shortly thereafter, he began a career selling health and fitness equipment, eventually creating a company (that would later become Colorado Cardio) to sell professionally refurbished commercial gym equipment.
Over the last 16 years, Shane has grown his passion into a thriving business. Now Colorado Cardio has expanded to three locations—Loveland, Fort Lupton, and a new store in Colorado Springs—and has grown to include commercial gym services, home delivery, strength equipment, and an online store.
He is joined at Colorado Cardio by his wife, three of his adult children, as well as his niece. Even his grandchildren find time to help in the shop, making it a true Colorado family-owned business!
